Thread count (TC) is a term for how many threads a particular piece of fabric contains per inch. For example, our Egyptian cotton bed linen has a TC of 400, which means that the product has 400 threads per inch (2.54 cm). The number of threads helps determine the quality of the product, and as a general rule, the more threads there are in a product, the better and more durable it is. However, it is not just the number of threads that determines the quality of the bed linen. Other criteria, such as the quality of the fibers and yarn and the way the fabric is woven, are also crucial. You can read more about these topics here .
